Farmhouse Renovation

When the owner bought the house, it had great bones, but other than the original pantry, the house was lacking personality. It was also lacking a kitchen, and an upstairs bath. The kitchen build design started with a refurbished stove that the owner had refinished fire engine red. This laid the path for a kitchen that is full of color and warmth. Built in benches created a cozy breakfast area. Wood counter tops, with turquoise cabinets provide plenty of workspace in a small kitchen, while also adding more warmth. Upstairs, the original unused chimney was taken out to create space for an upstairs bathroom which feels spacious, and makes functional use of a formerly unused space.
